Significant improvements were made in the conversational flow that the patient has with the Whatsapp bot through tools such as validation and identification of the patient, authorization of data processing and confidentiality of their answers, drop-down lists for multiple choice answers that avoid typing errors and uploading of files or medical authorizations.

Unsatisfied Demand
Previously, when sending information or scheduling campaigns to people on the waiting list for certain services, entities had to manually validate whether patients had already made appointments through other means or if they already had appointments scheduled. This affected the ability to contact patients who really needed the service. Therefore, it is proposed to automatically change the status to “managed” for those patients who have scheduled their appointment for the same service within days of entering the waiting list. This measure will prevent the waiting list from filling up with patients who already have appointments assigned to them, freeing up those slots for patients who are still waiting for availability for that service.
Surgery Scheduling
Progress was made in facilitating a platform for the hospital's internal team to make the reservation of all the necessary supplies to carry out each surgical procedure, such as: specialists, operating rooms, tools, supplies, medicines, equipment, support personnel. In addition to providing a visual of the complete information related to the procedure, to be consulted by all those involved and to facilitate the administrative tasks required in order to have all the resources scheduled for the day of surgery.
